Dhruv × Matrox

Complex Matrox walls. The same simple three-step experience.

Dhruv reads a supported Matrox wall preset, creates the matching wall template, and brings it into the familiar Fast Publish workflow: Upload → Designate → Preview & Publish.

Fast Publish for Matrox

One wall preset. Clear actions. No controller-language barrier.

Dhruv turns a supported live wall preset into the recognised screen layout, timing controls, and review flow needed for controlled publishing.

Step 1

Upload

Choose approved content, a playlist, or a prepared wall asset from the Dhruv Content Library.

Step 2

Designate

Select one physical screen or the complete Matrox wall in the supplied Nila-AV layout.

Step 3

Preview & Publish

Review the chosen placement, set timing, then restore the agreed content state.

Two generated wall modes

Choose one screen. Or change the full wall.

The selected Matrox preset determines the relevant wall experience. Operators see the appropriate options only when publishing to a supported Matrox wall.

Single Screen

Publish to one physical Matrox screen.

Choose the target visually in the supplied wall geometry while remaining outputs continue with their normal content.

  • Select the physical target in the wall layout.
  • Use manual, scheduled, or approved sensor activation.
  • Leave other Matrox outputs undisturbed.
  • Restore the selected screen automatically.

Full Wall Takeover

Take over the complete Matrox wall.

Use the coordinated full-wall flow where all four physical displays are selected together before the controlled publishing step.

  • Select all four physical screens as one coordinated wall.
  • Start now, schedule a start, or use an approved trigger rule.
  • Set an end time or duration in the final publishing step.
  • Return to the prior normal content automatically.

Manual, scheduled, or sensor-triggered

One controlled activation path, whatever starts it.

An agreed sensor event can activate the same governed Dhruv template. Sensor logic does not create a separate publishing system or bypass the controls that govern the Matrox wall.

Event

An approved sensor or schedule condition is met.

Dhruv automation

The agreed target, priority, duration, and template rule applies.

Restore

Normal content resumes when the condition or timing ends.

Dhruv keeps the target, duration, priority, restore behaviour, permissions, and audit flow governed. Sensor types and thresholds are deployment-specific; this page does not claim an unrestricted automation pathway.

Direct answers

Matrox control, translated into familiar Dhruv choices.

How does Dhruv work with a supported Matrox wall?

Dhruv reads the supported Matrox wall preset and presents the matching wall experience in the familiar Fast Publish pattern: Upload, Designate, then Preview & Publish. Operators use recognised screens and timing controls rather than crop coordinates, rotations, EDID, or controller output indexes.

What is the supplied Nila-AV wall layout?

The supplied Nila-AV reference identifies four separate screens: Screen 1 is a portrait display at the far left; Screen 2 is a portrait display at upper centre; Screen 3 is a landscape display at the right; and Screen 4 is a landscape display at lower centre. Dhruv preserves this physical arrangement in the static designation and preview templates.

Can the wall be controlled as one experience or screen by screen?

Yes. The Matrox experience provides two generated modes from the live preset: select one physical screen while other outputs retain normal content, or select all four screens for a coordinated Full Wall Takeover.

Can a sensor trigger a Matrox template?

An approved sensor event can be configured as an activation condition for a selected screen or Full Wall Takeover. Dhruv retains the rules for target, duration, priority, restore behaviour, permissions, and audit. Exact sensor and venue configuration are agreed for each deployment.

What happens after a timed or sensor-driven experience ends?

The selected screen or full wall returns automatically to the previous normal content. Restoration depends on the agreed Dhruv and Matrox configuration.
